Basic Requirements
- Age: Between 21 and 40 years old.
- Health: Non-smoker with no history of alcohol or drug abuse.
- BMI: Between 19 and 32.
- Medical History: No significant complications in previous pregnancies.
- Mental Health: No clinical mental health diagnoses.
- Medications: Not currently taking medications that could be harmful during pregnancy.
- Residency: U.S. citizen residing in a surrogacy-friendly state.
- Financial Stability: Demonstrates financial independence.
- Support System: Has a reliable support network.
- Insurance: Must have insurance coverage; if not, assistance will be provided to obtain appropriate policy.
Medical and Legal Process
Once matched with intended parents, you’ll undergo:
- Medical Screenings: Comprehensive evaluations at the Intended Parents’ fertility clinic.
- Mental Health Screening: Conducted by a licensed professional.
- Legal Agreement: Review and sign a Gestational Carrier Agreement, along with Parentage Order (PBO), with the assistance of legal counsel.
